Currently motorist want more machine, more pace, more miles, and reduced time to get where they need to go. Coming up in line to cross the Bay Bridges can be almost long wait.
Once upon a time boats that carried the cars across the inlet to reach to the other parts of the distant Bay places until the Golden Gate Bridge was built including the Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge. This was to stop the commute burden of rising Bay Area community. Nonetheless, it is certain that these bridges constantly supply us and give a daily approach for crossing over to various parts of the Bay Area, but it hasn’t solved the blocking and what seems to be immeasurable waiting to get to the other side of the bridges.
One suggestion to curb the overcrowding situation and to get some change was to position a carpool path and to allow all bridges to decide as to how many passengers per vehicle must be inside the automobile at the time of crossing without halting or face a heavy penalty in the form of a traffic violation. Many bridges have fixed it for two or more, but the Bay Bridge has fixed this limit for three or more people per vehicle. Although this has helped and still does today, the carpool lanes are limited to times of crossings. There are two times as morning and an afternoon. Usually the 7 AM to 10 AM time slashes with the traffic going to the direction of the cities and the 4 PM to 8 PM carpool lanes are fixed for leading out of the cities going in the direction of home.
The Highway and Transportation District and Officials at the Golden Gate Bridge initiated the development of electronic toll fetching in the early 1970s, and did innumerable research and development until 1990. Afterwards State law authorized requiring Caltrans to make specifications for all California bridges and toll roads together with the Golden Gate Bridge to have some type of electronic toll crossing machine available. This is when Caltrans had been evaluating the Fastrak electronic toll fetching machine on two bridges for over two years. After a thorough examination and conclusion of the Fastrak system, the districts were given contracts to develop and build a machine which will be compatible with all bridges and toll crossings and roads.
Fastrak is now the one and only machine that is used throughout the State of California for all toll bridges and roads. Commuters are required to open an account and obtain or buy a Fastrak electronic machine that is kept inside the automobile and the drivers must maintain their accounts updated with funds or face penalties for attempting to cross bridges or toll roads without sufficient money. The success of the Fastrak can be measured from tens of thousands cars passing the toll roads or crossing the bridges each day. Since the carpool lanes are limited to given times, traffic goes to accumulate all the time and drivers are left behind the time schedule. Fastrak has given those lucky ones, the zing to cross at anytime without having to wait and pay the toll.
This doesn’t stop these people from crossing the bridges and getting a ticket in the mail to pay their citation as the system noted driver’s device along with the date and time of the crossing and the picture of their car and license plate. Fastrak violations have increased and so have the FasTrak citation. There are numerous ways to shell out for tickets which includes the FasTrak violations by paying the tickets on the internet at one company which is around as long as Fastrak.
BobCOP Citations and Warrants Payment System has been in the present business for over ten years offering all traffic, parking, speeding, red light violations, and especially Fastrak citations can be paid online so drivers are done with it and go about their day. As busy as these Fastrak violators are by forgetting to fill-in their accounts, drivers prefer to pay their citation by going online at this famous site BobCOP.com.
Traffic tickets and FasTrak fines are violations we don’t like to remember and try to not happen again, but when it happens you have relief to conclude your business and pay the traffic ticket immediately and start the business of the day.
